When you create a DeepSpot account, we collect your display name, email address, and profile avatar selection. We use this to personalize your experience and communicate with you about your account.
When you submit spots, adventures, lists, or Moments, we collect the content you provide including text descriptions, photos, location coordinates, and category tags. This content may be displayed publicly on the platform.
We automatically collect information about how you interact with DeepSpot, including pages visited, features used, spots saved, and search queries. This helps us improve the platform and understand what our community values.
With your permission, we may access your device’s location to provide nearby spot recommendations and map functionality. You can disable location access at any time through your browser or device settings.

We use Openverse to source openly-licensed images for spot photography. These images are subject to their respective Creative Commons licenses.
