The rules and guidelines for using DeepSpot. By using our platform, you agree to these terms.
By accessing or using DeepSpot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
To access certain features—such as submitting spots, saving lists, or participating in the community—you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, please contact us immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
When you submit spots, adventures, lists, Moments, photos, or other content to DeepSpot, you retain ownership of your original content. However, by submitting, you grant DeepSpot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform.
All submissions must be accurate, original (or properly attributed), and respectful. You agree not to submit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes on the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards.
DeepSpot reviews community submissions before they are published. We may edit, reject, or remove any content at our discretion to maintain quality and community standards.
The DeepSpot name, logo, design, and original editorial content are owned by DeepSpot and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without written permission.
Some images on DeepSpot are sourced from Openverse under Creative Commons licenses, and place photos are provided through Google Places UI Kit. These are subject to their respective licenses and terms.
Our interactive map is powered by Apple MapKit JS and Google Maps Platform. Your use of map features is also subject to Apple’s and Google’s respective terms of service.
While we strive for accuracy, DeepSpot does not guarantee that location data, directions, or map information is complete or error-free. Always exercise personal judgment and verify important details when traveling to featured spots.
Some spots featured on DeepSpot may involve remote locations, abandoned structures, or challenging terrain. You visit any location at your own risk. DeepSpot is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses that occur during your travels.
When using DeepSpot, you agree not to:
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or to promote illegal activities
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from DeepSpot
• Upload malicious code, spam, or content designed to disrupt the platform
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other community members
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
• Submit fabricated or intentionally misleading location information
DeepSpot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeepSpot and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or property damage resulting from visiting locations featured on DeepSpot.
We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will provide notice through the platform or via email. Your continued use of DeepSpot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
